Most people have a perception about bums and the homeless, but this week, Heit & Cheri challenge you to ask the question, “Who’s the bum?” They begin with a discussion of political balderdash, including commentary on Rick Santorum’s alleged racist comments about Blacks and entitlements and scrutiny of Barack and Michelle Obama’s relationship as an example for other Blacks, the rising Black unemployment, the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), and the Terrorist Expatriation Act.
Next, the conversation turns to other social issues, such as the Marine who got into an altercation on a public bus over the use of the word, “nigger.” The final segment wraps up by focusing on the implication of “first-world problems,” as exhibited by Tiger Woods’ ex-wife, Elin Nordegren, who recently demolished her $12 million home to build her “dream home” in its place — all while more and more people find themselves facing homelessness.
